Hello

I have Winbond WPC8763LAODG chip, but only this plugin recognize this as supported:

15.06.2011 17:54:49,000 kernel: PC8739x: found NSC PC8739xx, revision 0x66


Strange but every reboot I have different values (always fake), currently is:


I thing is a bug.

Yes, this is fake because Winbond is not NSC. Your chip is just not supported. Sorry!

Hi,

PC8739X plugin inside superiofamily is loading and showing my fan speed, but am not able change the fan speed with smcfancontrol. can u help me changing fan speed to reduce the heat, In snow the rpm stays at 2500 RPM where as in windows it goes to whopping 3800 RPM.

I think the real speed is shown incorrectly because of unknown multiplier.
With this plugin no Fan Control is possible. Only monitor.

This kext is wrong. It works for me because I made it for me. Don't know what to do for other hardware.

If someone wants to tune the kext for his hardware then please show me the same screenshot from RW-everything Windows.

I will to tune the kext for other revision.
For now I know rev0x66 and 0x1B. And I see Marchrius has rev0xa2 but I have no data from him.
