Cool. Can you supply the uefi directories or some more info? I started playing with XPC files that I poached from here and elsewhere on the web but do not get boot, even 10.6 hangs so I am doing something wrong for sure... docs for it are non-existent like my russian.

I have tried the old non gui version of XPC and I can start it and select my boot drive but after loadin extensions mkext it hangs
with the fleha's package dowloaded from apple.ru I have XPC stopped after
MBR Start!

I am at the same boat. XPC doesn't started on my laptops at all.

I found a 0,50a version April 2010 version that looks newer than the other i tested so i'll try this and report back

Hi, scrax. I use the XPC downloaded from the site slice give, make it install on USB key, and it works well, also use it to install Lion on my extended drive. By now the sound and the wireless doesn't work, graphics and ethernet works fine. But some bugs is exist, too. It needs time to solve it by Apple developer.

Any XPC never worked for me. Trying iBoot mix: Efildr20 from iBOOT and iboot.efi from iBoot-1.3 (can patch more SMBIOS keys), gfx string generated by EFIStudio and put into devices/strings.dat. Got resolution and proper info in SysProf/Graphics but no full QE/CI. Using patched DSDT (including from Snow) get KP (...no HPETS...).

EDIT: I had got black screen&nothing after red "MBR Start" with XPC, that issue gone when removed all usb devices (except boot media) and booted after shutdown instead of restart. (XPC 0.82.33 and above)

I want to thank this file, it made the iboot and xpc to work, instead of just "Btstart" or "Mbr start", then blank screen..

I don't know where this is from.. but I am able to "convert" this into iboot 1.5a (but it has smbios problems now), or xpc 82.33 (but it says

Загружаюсь с флешки и получаю такую картину

XPC упрямо пытается грузиться с CD/DVD привода и других источников загрузки не видит

for me, that picture shows up only if there ONE file on the usb stick, ie: Efildr20

If it finds the /EFI/boot/???.efi, it would load that instead, but I don't know how Efildr20 knows what file to load in the /EFI/boot/ dir

I get "0GB Ram" in that screen..
