So I got an Acer netbook (AOD255E) with the N570 cpu. It seems like this type of netbook don't work very well with OSX Whenever I try a vanilla install of 10.5 or 10.6 it will get a KP with ACPI: expected 2 core but only 1 found. From google it seems like this is because of the hyperthreading on the N570. Since I can't turn it off in the BIOS, I tried to remove the extra "cores" from the DSDT but it didn't work. I use netbookinstaller but same problem. Then I tried some non-vanilla install but they can never boot the after install compeletes. Does anyone have any idea on how to make OSX even install on this kind of netbook? (I know the video probably won't work, GMA3150)

Atom CPU is not supported by mach_kernel. You need patched one.
