I can see many people are having this card and trying to tweek it to run. Any successful ones? I am also in the list who needs a solution.

I see Broadcom has open sourced the linux driver which means its possible to port it to mac too. I am trying to do something like that. Any helping hand who can help me to start with some intro to writing and testing kexts/contribute to this?

Porting a linux driver to OSX is possible but difficulty level = impossible.
It's even more hard then write new driver from datasheet.
