Hi All!
I installed Lion with Unibeast and everything works great.
BUT!!
I can only boot with the loader inside the Lion USB install. When I boot with my hdd it says "disk boot failure.."
Installation:
Unibeast + Multibeast Lion / EasyBeast / Kext Utility
My Specs:
DFI LP DK X58 -T3eh6-
6 gb Gskill
i7 920
HD4870
Bios:
Enabled AHCI / HPET 64 bits / Boot from HDD(Disk Boot Failure) / boot from USB HD
Any Idea?

Is it a 4k sector/"advanced format" drive?
If it is, the current workaround is to install Chameleon's boot1h using DD from a Linux live CD.

You could look it up on the manufacturers website, maybe even on the label of the drive itself.
AFAIK 4K sector Western Digital drives has a model name ending in EARS or EURS.
If your motherboard has an Intel chipset, install the Intel Rapid Storage Manager and check there.
Any recent hard drive benchmark tool will probably tell you as well.

That's a 512kb sector drive.
You need to install and configure the Chameleon boot loader.
Visit the VoodooProjects forum, find a post by me and follow the link in my signature.

Thanks!
I did it, and didn't work. That's what it prompted:
IMG_02092.jpg ( 179.53K )
Number of downloads: 16
(Hdd was set first in priority)

I don't know...that message means that there's no boot loader installed. With Chameleon incorrectly installed you should at least see a boot error message from Chameleon, but the message you are seeing is from your BIOS, Chameleon hasn't begun to load at all.
The other messages are from your on-board ethernet trying to boot via LAN. You can disable that in your BIOS for a shorter boot time.

I think that the HDD is not even read when booting in AHCI. Only in IDE mode (it's SATA)
Ok, I've come up with an alternative idea.
I've given up trying to boot from main HDD. I've installed Chimera on an external USB and I boot from there.
But, if anybody has a new idea it will be great.
Thanks!
