Yo,
Has anyone tried build 7100 of W7 yet? I'm thinking of downloading it but it's a seriously big file for me to get on what seems to be a ~200Kb/s speed. Does it differ much to build 7000 which was very good indeed.

Hey PabSTARRRR,
I am using it at home and at work. They smashed a lot of bugs from beta 1 to RC and it seems a little faster. Definitely worth the upgrade

I used the beta for a while, it was already pretty stable. I like the fact that it's just as fast as XP, plus some of the other aspects of it are attractive, especially the toning of the user interface. However, I don't think it's enough to sway me from Mac OS X and Linux, as the only real reason I would need to use Windows is to game and I don't do that. (But I did game on Win 7 and it was really sweet).

I did use it for a while and I must say, they're doing a magnificent job. That said, it would be perfect if it wouldn't piss itself and die when I try to boot between it and osx86.

I am using Windows 7 (7100 and Pre-RC) as a production operating system at the moment.
It's leaps and bounds beyond Vista in most respects.
