I'd like to see a "Mac Classic" or Vintage forum here smile.gif

Just an idea.

I'm against this for two reasons:
1) This is Project OS X and is solely centered around OS X
2) Classic macs have nothing to do with osx86

A retro forum just seems superfluous based on the theme of the site.

IMO

Skins just slow down a forum and load 1KB-2MB of data to read a few lines of text.

I suppose anyone could use a lo-fi version if they chose to but I think putting content into this forums is a wiser use of time.

Also, anything that sparks pater's intellect and brings him out of hiding I'm down with...long live PATER!

Sorry, but what does that have to do with a pre-OS X category? tongue.gif

In my opinion if you are interested in OS9 and older you should go to a museum or some other prehistoric institution. Seriously I am sure there are other forums which deal with older OS's and this should be dedicated to OS X.
I have decided to leave the OSX86 scene, but if there are any particularities you need to address arising from my contributions, you may contact me on voodoo@superhai.com
If you want to work on any of my sources or projects, or if you are interested in hosting the files I provided you may use the same address to arrange a way to get hold of them. Any requests or questions for unrelated support, or other unrelated requests will be blacklisted, banned or regarded as an abuse and dealt with accordingly.
Of course community friends may also use the address and you know who you are.

As cool as it sounds, this falls under common sense:
