I was trying to use a GeForce 6200 with Turbocache on Lion but all I get is "Probe fails" with the NVEnabler.
Am I doing something wrong or my vga is not supported because it is too old?

is it pcie or agp?

if its agp, you need to inject this

"IOPCIExpressLinkStatus",
0x1102,

also not sure that 64bit drivers exist for this card

It is PCIe... I tried everything and I wasn't able to activate QE/CI...
I read the nvenabler testing thread and they say that it will only work on 10.6.0-1... I'll try this tomorrow.

Same thing with Snow Leopard 10.6.0 :/ Stucked at probe fails.
I'll try to inject the efi or dsdt.
Krazubu, could you give me any hints?

What is it about the Nvidia Graphics Geforce 6100 that is so different from the 6200 or others, that work on OS X?
What makes makes it not supported is what I am asking. I have found that sometimes using a kext from an older or new model will sometimes work with audio or network cards or even had success with WiFi doing this. I am not real new at this but am new at this with AMD boards or Mountain Lion or Lion, and have not yet tried to do any thing with Maveric. Did not have a 64 bit mother board for intel. But I do have a AMD Atholon 64 3500+ 2.2 GHZ I am writing this message to you on.
Thanking for taking the time to respond. Any advice is helpful. I want to learn more.

6100 is not a standalone graphic card/GPU but an "augmented chipset" with built-in graphics support. Kind of like older intel GMA products that were built-into chipset, before intel directly built them into the CPU.
This means it has a really different architecture that the usual drivers wouldn't be able to handle only with minor tweaks. As OSX was never intended to run on this, it's far from having even a beginning of compatibility, so support for it is hopeless (especially now that it's damn old, discontinued, and kind of fun that AMD who bought ATI was supporting nvidia at that time).
6200 for instance is a real independent PCI circuit.

Hello Krazubu, I have been still your guide to be able to activate the graphic acceleration QE/CI with my card Asus 9800 gtx+, but I have not obtained anything, I cannot also have two monitors activated hdmi that I have.

I take a lot of time trying to solve this problem and do not obtain it, I consulted with Gringo Vermelho and he advised me to contact with you since you are one of the coauthors of NVEnabler and you wrote a diagram of the ports that can be activated.

I have tried the arrangement across display-cfg, so much injected into the NVEnabler, as in the dsdt.aml, device-properties, injecting the rom of 8800 GT, Nvcap (04000000000003000c0000000000000700000000) obtained in windows and with nvcap marker, have to say that the value Nvcap across ioreg I could never obtain it, nevertheless in 10.6 I have this Nvcap (04000000000003001c0000000000000a00000000) and in 10.8.5 (04000000000003001c0000000000000700000000).

I have tried everything unimaginable and I have never obtained anything.

Even all the values and possible combinations on display-cfg, with me ID 0612 in NVDAResman.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext.
macbook pro 8600GT: 03010000 - ffff0001 (this is the value that gives to me ioreg in 10.6 working quite, acelareación, double screen ....)
macbook pro unibody 9400: 03010300 - ffff0801
macbook pro white 9400: 03010300 - ffff0201
mac pro 8800GT: 03010000 - ffff0001
imac 24 ' 7600GT: 03035000 - ffff3601
Apple TV 7300Go: 01ff0000
mac pro 7300GT: Ffff3600 - 00ff3e01
powermac 6800GT: 00ff3600 - 00ff3e01

On having read the thread on the capacity of the monitors HDCP, I thought that there could be there the problem, which does not do well the conversion of DVI to HDMI, but it cannot be like that because in 10.6.0 I have working two monitors and activated QE/CI, translucent bar, etc. with direct cable DVI/HDMI, but from this version I have never been able to have two monitors working not even QE/CI.

In 10.6.8 and 10.8.5 yes he recognizes after me well the card but it has never worked with QE/CI, I have using so much GraphicsEnabler Yes as dsdt.aml, device-properties, rom, NVEnabler, NVEnabler_64, NVEnabler with rom injected, I even have used adapter of DVI to HDMI and neither.

As last option I am trying the installation of Maverick to see if he gets the problem ready, because I already do not have any more options to try.

I believe that this problem him happens only to some holders of 9800 gtx, because others yes that can make her work.

Can it be that this card does not work with QE/CI beyond the version 10.6?, it is for keeping on trying it or retiring definitively.

In windows works perfectly with graphic acceleration and with two monitors.

I would like if you could indicate something more to me to keep on investigating on this problem.

Thank you very much for your attention.
Core Quad Q6600
P5Q Pro (updated to the last version)
Asus 9800 gtx+, with 2 exits DVI and 1 S-video, connected to direct cable dvi/hdmi
Monitor: 2 Hanns'g with entry HDMI with capacity HDCP
S.O.: 10.6, 10.6.8 and 10.8.5 : Windows 7
