The long-awaited upgrade for Apple's popular OS X system, Snow Leopard is set to ship in September, Apple said at the WWDC in June.
Snow Leopard's standalone upgrade price is a very appealing $29, while the family pack is $49.
The selling points to the upgrade don't sit with just the price alone, which although Windows 7 pricing has yet to be announced, provides Apple with a significant edge over Redmond.
Apple has included advances in system accessibility, true 64 bit support, making the system fully multi-core aware, graphics technology advances and a new version of their popular Quicktime media system.

Hopefully OSX Server prices will drop too!
I'd love to pick up a legit copy for my rig.... it'd also simplify the install process, LOL.
