The interface is a lot better than avast's.

After having it installed for less than a day, I must say I uninstalled it already. I find it interferes with Finder functioning properly (disk images would stall and not mount properly, Finder used up a lot more RAM than it usually does).. the antivirus part of it functions well, but luckily it's a beta, I may try it again when it's fully released.

I have a license for VirusBarrier x5 from Macheist's nanoBundle, but haven't heard anything about how that one performs. Is it actually worth the $79 it supposedly costs?

I dont see this behavior but I'm up to date, you might want to give this another go.
