The quiz really helps to cut down on the irrelevant posts, big kudos for having that. It is such a good idea I think there should be a quiz for developers also, and maybe a special developer section?

But perhaps highlighting in red the quiz requirements for guests and those who haven't taken it yet might help, and providing the same text and link on the generic permissions error page might help (sorry if there is one already, didn't want to make a new account to test). Otherwise these WTF posts should go in a locked hall of shame and the accounts banned. wink.gif

Also, I have noticed that many people provide logs in code or quote tags, or quote long posts. Would it be possible to default to bbcode codebox style layout (add scrollbar) or auto-collapse large text blocks (>10 lines) with an option to force full display?

Keep up the good work, many thanks!

One more way to reduce irrelevant posts is to implement a karma/thanks system, this way you can thank helpful people without cluttering the forums.

Anyway, nice job keeping this forum clean, it's not about quantity but about quality smile.gif

ust wanted to throw out some sincere thanks for all the hard work the devs have done on this app. It's truly outstanding, and blows away anything else I've looked at in terms of sheer functionality and "robustness". It took me a little while to get it working the way I wanted it to, but once I understood how everything worked (or at least the stuff I needed it to do - lots more to discover, I'm sure!), it's a BREEZE to use. My initial frustrations were being a little overwhelmed with the myriad of options that exist, but once I wrapped my head around it, I was off and running. Kudos to you all for a job well done. Thanks again.
