Full Version: What Is Rtc0, And Does It Matter That I Don't Have It
Project OS X Forums > Snow Leopard Guides & Tutorials > DSDT Patching

I was just reading the thread about the DSDT patch for improving SATA performance, but when I decided to have a look at my RTC0 code, I found that I don't have any. Should I?

OEM naming varies, it helps to search by _ADR (address). Note the address also varies depending on southbridge. It is common practice to find a native os x dump close to your build to model from, matching the southbridge is obviously crucial.

Thanks for the info.

I've really got to get more hardware into the DSDT. My audio just disappeared for no reason today (been using VoodooHDA) sad.gif

Just renamed all instances of RTC0 to RTC, to stay consistent with Apple's naming conventions.
