I have read various posts all over the www and tried the proposed solution however I am unable to make the eSATA ports work on this motherboard.

I would have thought it was as simple as explained, install the modified AppleVIAATA.kext, connecting the eSATA drive and booting the machine however this does not work.

Does anyone with a DX58SO really have this working or is this all just a bunch of false claims of success to boosts ones ego?
