Hi,
I've been fighting with this from some weeks now...
Tried every injector, efi string, nvcap, etc. Even modded my rom (killed the laptop twice in the process xD) but the bootloader insist that video is 256MB only.
The system, is an Asus G1 (first model) laptop. Graphic board is a nVidia GeForce Go 7700 512MB dedicated. It is a MXM module (altough, soldered to the mainboard). Video bios is included in the system bios. (Chip SST49LF004B 4Mbit, PLCC32 soldered to mainboard... yanked and put on a nice PLCC32 socket).
Ive tried nvcaps from forums, created my own following tutorials, and arti's tools. I can get full res screen (1680x1050) using EFI strings alone or with some injectors. But never been able to get QE/CI.
The system has onboard LCD , DVI Out, VGA Out, TV Out. Ive tested the first 3, and all working.
