I have TVTuner Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro PCI with chip Philips 7134.
No any driver for Mac exits for it and I want to create new one.
I have two possible ways
1. Sources of MMInputFamily including iTele application and driver for Philips 7146.
2. Sources of XTelevion and driver for BT8xx
3. Linux sources of Philips 7134
4. Apple's sources of HackTV and Image Capture SDK.

I think the task is feasible but I need one more developer to work.
I need also theoretical explanation how it must works.

Also iTV has a bt787 kext, that i'm pretty sure he compiled for intel. not sure if its different then the Television. Does eyeTV include kexts? are they open? might be another place to start.

No, eyeTV is only for USB. It can't be starting point.
