hello
all this mess around ATI mobility chipsets support for osx86 has to be resolved.
laptops only doesn't work (not enough), so I need solution to compare with "the working one"
which is AMD/Intel desktop PCI-E card based osx86 HW build with optional extensions.
I'm looking for most compact prototype box (board + power + case) cause I don't have much space at home.
minimal req:
AMD x2 CPU/chipset
PCI-E x16 slot for possible ATI 3650 card injection (mini/micro back panel based probably)
optional req:
MXM/MXM II/MXM III slot in parallel with PCI-E, in order to see "mobility features" comparison.
see following board as example
migration from PCI-E to MXM is clear to see on photographs here
how can we get LVDS to simulate laptop displays? it's motherboard business to get one, see example
"Key Features: Intel GME965 GMCH built-in 1x24-bit / 1x18-bit or 2x18-bit LVDS TFT LCD transmitter."
where can I get those MXM mobility graphic boards? here they are
any thoughts?
