Jeanguy!
Hi !

Here are the steps I followed to make my card fully recognised : correct RAM, CI/QE, Optimal Resolution (1366*768)

I have a Acer 4935g laptop and I used iatkos v7.

Before you need to follow THE guide :
http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4

- Download the latest Nvidia drivers here :
http://www.nvidia.com/object/GeForce_MacOSX_18.5.2f16.html

- You will need to unpack and install all the drivers manually (auto instal won't work)

Before installing, you will have to edit nvdanv50hal and nvdaresman kexts with your card id (I used this : 0x06e910de&0x0000ffff)

Then I edited Nvenabler IOPCIMatch with "0x06e910de" and "IOprobescore = 0".

- install all the kexts and erase the extensions and reboot.

I tried many times with Nvenabler, I think the most important is to get the latest nvidia drivers (didn't try other injectors with this drivers).

I also installed cuda.kext and I don't know if it has any impact on it... Someone knows ?

Good Luck !

in snow x64, using this method to enable acceleration for the 9300M GS 512Mb on an HP DV3XXX gives the "black screen" but does boot into the OS. I used both chameleon RC3 graphicsenabler and NVInject.

in snow x86, using NVEnabler causes darwin to hang on an ACPI ... timed out.

Has anyone successfully used this card fully accelerated in Snow?

Cheers

In Snow Leopard for the 9300M GS in the dv3000 series, add these IDs to nvdanv50hal and nvdaresman, and use the GraphicsEnabler in chameleon.

I have a Sony Z with a 9300M GS and when I install the drivers with the ID's for my GPU with GraphicsEnabler from the latest Chameleon (RC5) and the latest drivers (19.5.8f03) I can only use an external monitor (QE/CI is working) and the internal is blank and does not seem to be detected.

I would like to know if you went through any other steps to fix the blank screen issue you were having. Thanks.

Hello Jeanguy,

Thanks for the Brief Desc, I have Followed your Steps, and I only Success to get FULL Resolutions But only in Safe Mode Or in Legacy Mode when you type -x -legacy -v

Normal Boot cause a Black Screen! I can't live with the Legacy Mode forever, there gotta be a way out? Any idea of what might cause the Black screen? and why I'm able to Boot Successfully with Full resolution on Legacy Mode?

Kindly advise,
thanks!
