So I have a retail leopard install DVD and am looking to make a specific install DVD for my system. What I've managed to do so far is create a .DMG of the disc and altered my OSInstall.mpkg to allow MBR Installs.

I can install just fine (sort of) by booting my altered install DVD with -f kernel flags (would like to fix this if possible). I can even make it to the desktop after installation. However I have no NIC support OOB which is to be expected. I do have to use a specific kext (Intel82655MM.kext) to get my NIC working. My question is; is it possible to have this kext install during normal installation?

Also, my retail disc is 10.5.2, is it possible to somehow upgrade this to 10.5.8 that way when I install it's already up-to-date without having to redownload the combo updates and such?

Any help is greatly appreciated smile.gif

Ok, is it possible to take the 10.5.8 combo update from Apple and some how inject or slipstream it into a read/write DMG of my 10.5.2 Retail Install Disc?
