My specs are - intel dg43nb motherboard, ich10 sata, nvidia 8600gs, intel 82567v ethernet lan controller, alc888vc audio codec

I had a fully working leopard 10.5.8 installation usng ipc 10.5.6.. i had to use the patched usb drivers and usb mount fix to get my usb working..

i installed snow leopard 10.6 using the usb installation method with chameleon rc3.. able to boot into both 32 and 64 bit modes.. but my usb drive is not mounting.. and so not able to use my wireless usb adapter(netgear wg111v3)

I have the same problem with my Intel DQ45CB motherboard. I had to use Slice's modded 10.5.8 IOUSBFamily.kext with 10.6.2 to get USB working fully. The kext works even though there's a few incompatibilities reported.

You can get it here.

Hello n_schumi,

I have the same motherboard (DG43NB) and trying to install snow leopard without success.
I installed 10.5.8 and running.
I used 10.5.8 to restore the SL install DVD on another HD, then installed chameleon on SL install HD. I tried different DSDT files in both extra and root. And tried to generate new DSDT from within 10.5.8

It will not boot to the SL install HD.
I updated BIOS and using AHCI mode.

Can you tell me what I missed which allowed you to install snow leopard on the DG43NB?

Thanks smile.gif
