Got no permission to start topic in hardware discussion so posting here...
Iam using "vanilla" SL on aspire one a150 and got an atheros 5007 wifi card(168c,1c). And have no success to get this thing working.The native kext in 10.6.1 seems to have proper ID's implemented in plist but dmesg shows that kext fails to load.

so what are we got:

1)i have some old kext from 10.5 system wich forces boot in kernel panic sometimes or if lucky enough to boot Airport is recognized with "switched-off" status.
2) the upcoming 10.6.2 update contains the new IO80211 kext with 64bit support ti atheros. i have bad luck trying it with 5007 atheros.
3)a bunch of "ideas" about problems with soft-switch/dsdt/pci-e. (Keep in mind that broadcom pci-e card works flawless.... which means that soft-switch is not a problem)

Any ideas? how to get this atheros work? Do some of you have any success with that thing?
