i am trying to Dual Boot Win 7 & SL ON GPT ( MBR is easy to do )
Here is my attempt :
1- i used Gparted Live Cd to format the HDD and Make it GUID ( GPT )
2- partion the hard as follow ( partition for SL as HFS+ , one for 7 as NTFS , and one for data as HFS+ )
3- when chosing win 7 partition to install it said win can’t be installed on GPT
so i guess i need to make a hybrid MBR ( Don’t know how ? but i read about Gptsync that it can )
So any one Dual Boot On GPt can tell me what to do ?

I once successfully installed Windows 7 on a GPT formatted disk. But I used Mac OS X to partition the disk instead of GParted. I created three partitions: The first as FAT32 for Windows, the second as HFS+ for OS X and the last as FAT32 for a shared data partition. I then installed OS X, chameleon, and used dd to save the first 400 bytes of the MBR.
Then when I booted the Windows 7 install dvd, I selected the first FAT32 partition as the install destination, chose the "format" option, and the install proceeded with no trouble at all. I then rebooted into OS X and used dd again to restore the first 400 bytes of the MBR.
I ended up with a dual boot windows/os x system selectable with chameleon, on a GPT disk.
