i noticed that alot of people are saying GFX strings are the way to go, rather than the injectors.. what i found was that when i put my 8400GS string, i cant change resolution and the screed does not fade out.. why is this happening?

Krazubu, one of our forum staff members, is a master of nvidia graphics having created his own injector. If you can read French or feel like using google translate, he makes some excellent points here on why injectors are more flexible than using strings.

I would highly recommend following first his nvidia tutorial and then using his nvidia injector.

Strings may serve a purpose, but they're not as smooth or as easily changeable as injectors are.

Good luck.
